No longer do you need to deal with ice, salt or putting old style machine drums into your freezer. Just take the flavor mix, add water and pour into the top. Turn on the machine and in 10 - 15 minutes you will have a great frozen treat. And you can run water through the unit to clean it out and do it again, right away!

With other home made ice cream makers, you have to freeze the barrel for 24 hours ahead of time. Once you blend the ice cream it often has to go back into the freezer to harden or you'll end up with soup. Zippy Freeze completely freezes the ice cream so you can dispense the ice cream and start enjoying it right away.

Other machines will make about 1 quart of ice cream after which you need to prepare the barrel (another 24 hours). Zippy Freeze produces a 1 1/2 quart sized batch of ice cream every 10-15 minutes.
